'Modest' Homes Moving on Radnor's Market

According to a Home Market report from Prudential Fox and Roach Realtors, 24 properties changed hands in the township last month. In 2012 that number was 22; in 2011 it was 18.

Radnor fared fourth-best percentage-wise out of nine Main Line municipalities included in the report with an increase of 9.1 percent.

The median price of a home sold in Radnor decreased 21.1 percent in March to $402,000 from $509,250 the prior March. In 2011 that number was $626,000.

The average days on the market for homes that sold in Radnor in March 2013 pretty much stayed the same from 101 last year to 99 days, according to the Prudential Fox and Roach report. In 2011 that number was 101.
