Radnor Home Sales Jump in July

Property settlements in Radnor Township during July of 2013 increased 60 percent from the same month last year.

According to a report from Prudential Fox and Roach, there were 40 properties that closed in July, compared with 25 from last year. That number was 28 in 2011.

The median price of the properties that did sell in July of 2013 decreased 10 percent over the same period last year, from $667,500 to $600,000. That’s up from $487,500 in July 2011.

The average days on the market decreased by 3 percent from 63 to 61 days between last July and this July.
