$130K Worth Of Fake Louis Vuitton Bags Seized In Philadelphia
Customs and Border Protection officials in Philadelphia said the bags were headed to a New Jersey destination from Hong Kong.
PHILADELPHIA — Numerous fake designed handbags were intercepted and seized in Philadelphia recently, according to federal officials.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers seized a shipment of 37 counterfeit Louis Vuitton handbags Thursday, Dec. 12 that arrived in Philadelphia from Hong Kong.
If authentic, the handbags would have had a manufacturer suggested retail price of $130,610. They were destined to an address in Logan Township, New Jersey.

The shipment of three boxes initially arrived Nov. 25 manifested as "Lady Bag Sample."
Customs officers suspected the shipment to be counterfeit and detained it.
