14 Rescued After Mt. Airy Building Collapses
The Philadelphia Fire Department rescued more than a dozen residents after a building collapsed on Sunday morning.

MT. AIRY — The Philadelphia Fire Department rescued more than a dozen residents after a building collapsed in the Mt. Airy section on Sunday morning.
The incident occurred on Cresheim Road before 11 a.m.
The multi-family home's roof appeared to have caved in, and brick column supports had collapsed in the front of the building.

Several other area departments assisted the Philadelphia Fire Department on the scene.
It's not yet clear what injuries may have been suffered.

Two dogs were rescued, and two cats are still in the process of being rescued, the Red Paw Relief Team said.
The Red Cross of Southeastern PA is on the scene to provide both temporary lodging and emotional support resources.
