Armed Robbers Hit Roxborough Cell Phone Store: Police

ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA — Three men are sought in connection with the armed robbery of a Boost Mobile Store in Roxborough Tuesday, according to police.

The robbery occurred at 4:58 p.m. Tuesday at Boost Mobile, 6125 Ridge Ave.

Police said three men armed with semi-automatic guns came into the store and forced an employee into the back of the store.

The men then took multiple new cell phones and $335 in cash. Police said the phones were valued at $9,881.

Additionally, the men robbed a customer who came into the store during the robbery. The men forced the customer to the back of the store at gunpoint then took the customer’s iPhone 11, backpack, and wallet.

Police said all three men were black with thin builds; one was wearing a blue surgical mask, a green coat with fur hood, a red hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black sneakers. He was armed with a tan and black semi-automatic firearm.

Another robber was wearing a black ski mask, olive green hooded coat, gray jeans, and black backpack. The third man was wearing a black ski mask, blue coat with zipper on the sleeve, gray hooded sweatshirt, and white sneakers. He was armed with a black semi-automatic firearm.
