Driver suffers third-degree burns in early-morning accident that closed Shawmont Ave.
A driver was severely injured when his car caught fire in Roxborough early Tuesday morning.
According to 6ABC, the man lost control of his vehicle, at which point it struck a utility pole and took down wires.
WXTU traffic reporter Stevie Reese said Tuesday morning that Shawmont Ave. was closed down.
