Free Food Available At 20 Philadelphia Locations

EAST MOUNT AIRY, PHILADELPHIA — Free food for families is available various locations in Philadelphia during the outbreak of the new coronavirus, known as COVID-19.

The City of Philadelphia has opened sites throughout the city where any resident can pick up free food for their household during the crisis.

Food is available for pick up at the church from 10 a.m. to noon Mondays and Thursdays.

These sites have been set up in addition to numerous schools offering meal pick up for children. See schools offering grab-and-go meals here.

Residents can pick up one box per household and do not need to present an ID or proof of income for eligibility. Supplies will last up to five days.

The sites are supported by the City, Share Food Program, and Philabundance.
