Help Clean Up Wissahickon Park This Weekend

Saturday is National Trails Day and the community is invited to help clean up Philadelphia's Wissahickon Valley Park.

PHILADELPHIA — You can help make Wissahickon Valley Park this weekend as part of National Trails Day.

From 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, the public is invited to participate in a clean-up effort in the park.

Service projects are taking place at and near two different popular trailheads in the park.

Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own gloves.

All volunteers are required to wear a face covering and maintain a 6-foot distance from other people not in their household. Anyone feeling ill or have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19 is urged to stay home.
