Huge Teen Brawl In Roxborough Caught On Camera

A fight involving a large group of teenagers in Roxborough spilled out onto the street recently.

ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA — A brawl involving a large group of teenagers broke out in Roxborough recently, and it was all caught on camera.

A video posted online to a Roxborough neighborhood Facebook group showed a massive brawl break out and spill into the street Monday.

Toward the end of the video, two girls were laying by a vehicle in the street, appearing as if they were struck by the vehicle. Then the teens begin attacking the vehicle and the video cuts off.

The incident occurred on Dec. 2 along Ridge Avenue and involved Roxborough High School students.

According to Fox 29, some businesses in the area temporarily ban students from their premises around the time school is let out due to issues such as fighting.

The School District of Philadelphia said the students involved have been addressed, but did not offer specifics when asked by CBS Philadelphia.

"The consequences for the students involved in the incident were addressed in alignment with District policy," the district told the outlet. "School staff have been involved in ongoing conversations with the Roxborough Business Association about potential solutions to relieve the issues and help ensure neighborhood safety."
