Kelly Drive Detoured Saturday For Regatta

Philadelphia Police said a detour will be in place for 12 hours Saturday to accommodate the Philadelphia Youth Regatta.

PHILADELPHIA — Kelly Drive will be detoured this weekend due to a regatta on the Schuylkill River.

According to Philadelphia Police, Kelly Drive will be detoured due to the Philadelphia Youth Regatta which will be held Saturday, July 20.

Kelly Drive will close from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

During the closure, drivers will be detoured from the Strawberry Mansion Bridge to Fountain Green Drive.

Southbound Kelly Drive traffic will be detoured up the Strawberry Mansion ramp to Fountain Green Drive, via Reservoir Drive.

Northbound Kelly Drive traffic will be detoured up Fountain Green Drive, along the same route.

Sufficient detour signs will be posted along the detour routes.

Delays will be minimal.
