Kelly Drive Detoured Saturday For Regatta: Police

The road will be detoured for most of Saturday as the Bayada Regatta is set to be held on the Schuylkill River.

PHILADELPHIA – With the Bayada Regatta set for Saturday, Aug. 18, Philadelphia Police said Kelly Drive will be detoured for most of the day.

Police said Kelly Drive will close between Strawberry Mansion Bridge to Fountain Green Drive with a detour from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Drivers heading south on Kelly will be detoured up the Strawberry Mansion ramp to Fountain Green Drive via Reservoir Drive.

And those heading north will be detoured up the Strawberry Mansion ramp to Fountain Green Drive via Reservoir Drive.

Detour signs will be posted along the routes.

Delays will be minimal, police said.
