Anne the Cat may have given her owners a heart attack, but the missing Manayunk kitty returned home earlier this week.
Mike Sheehan posted a Patch announcement Oct. 2 querying Manayunk residents if they had seen the small, grey cat with blacks stripes and a white belly.
After roaming the Manayunk area since Sept. 30, Anne returned home Monday.

Sheehan shared this message with Roxborough-Manayunk Patch:
My girlfriend's roommate went to walk her dog around 6 in the morning on Monday. As they're walking down the block, the dog stops and starts whining because she sees something across the street. So they walk across the street to an abandoned lot where some of the neighbors park their cars and she sees the cat under one the cars.Â

She was a little hesitant to approach them at first but then I guess she recognized them and started meowing and approached them. She was in good condition. No scratches or anything. We've been putting dry cat food out front the house for the week she was missing so we think she may have been coming back to eat at night.
He expressed his gratitude for residents keeping a look-out for the missing Anne.
