Manayunk: We'll Be Open For Business on Pope Weekend
Manayunk Development Corporation says Manayunk businesses are staying open for Pope Francis' visit- and sales and specials will be announced
While many businesses in Center City and other parts of Philadelphia are planning to close during the weekend of the Pope’s visit, “Manayunk will be open,” according to a post on the Manayunk.com Facebook page Thursday.
The page, operated by the Manayunk Development Corporation, went on to note that “many businesses on Main Street will be staying open and are offering sales and specials for those who come to town.”
Manayunk businesses, for the weekend, are using the hashtag #OpenInMNYK.
