Meeting On Roxborough Preservation Set For Thursday
Local leaders will discuss how residents can take action to preserve land in the Roxborough area Thursday evening.
ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA — The Schyulkill Center is hosting a meeting to discuss how to preserve the Roxborough area from increasing development.
The public is invited to attend the meeting from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education.
At this town meeting, community leaders and planners discuss actions residents can take to preserve our community’s open space.

Panelists include James Harry Calamia of the Roxborough Development Corporation, Kay Sykora of the Roxborough/Manayunk Conservancy, Celeste Hardester of the Central Roxborough Civic Association, and Matt Wysong, a planner for the City of Philadelphia.
The Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education is located at 8480 Hagy's Mill Road.
