New Trail Would Connect Wissahickon From Roxborough Through Montgomery County
The Green Ribbon Trail currently runs for more than 12 miles through Montgomery County.

The Wissahickon Valley Watershed Association is planning a trail that will connect Wissahickon Park within the city of Philadelphia to trails through Montgomery County.
The environmental nonprofit will hold a public open house meeting on Tuesday, September 29 to discuss the trail extension and other project ideas.
The event will be held at the Whitemarsh Township Building from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The proposed trail would link the Green Ribbon Trail from Erdenheim farms, running through the Lafayette Hill and Whitemarsh areas, to the Forbidden Drive area in Roxborough.

The Green Ribbon Trail currently runs for 12.6 miles from Parkside in Upper Gwynedd to Stenton Avenue in Whitemarsh.
