Philadelphia School Closings Extended to Monday
Public schools in the city will now be closed Wednesday through Monday
Philadelphia public schools, already closed from Wednesday through Friday this week, will also be closed next Monday, the district announced Monday.
According to NBC 10, the city’s schools are closed Wednesday due to the Jewish holiday of Yom Kippur, and Thursday, Friday and now Monday due to the World Meeting of Families and other Papal festivities.
