Police Looking For Witnesses to Manayunk Bar Assault
Aggravated assault took place at Spanky's Pub on September 5; police are looking for potential witnesses

The Philadelphia Police Department is looking to locate witnesses to an aggravated assault that took place September 5 outside Spanky’s Pub on Umbria Street in Manayunk.
According to the Police Department’s official blog, the following occurred:
On Saturday, September 5, 2015, at 3:00 am, the complainant, a 32 year-old male, was standing in front of Spanky’s Pub located at 4600 Umbria Street when he was involved in a verbal altercation with an unknown white male. During the altercation the complainant was struck in the head knocking him unconscious. After being transported to Temple Hospital the complainant spent several days in the Intensive Care Unit as a result of his injuries. Prior to the assault the complainant had a disagreement with some individuals inside the pub but was resolved and no further hostilities occurred. The Philadelphia Police Department is seeking assistance to identify the following potential witness. If this witness recognize themselves they are asked to contact Northwest Detective Division at 215-686-3353/3354.
