Police: Sister Hits Sister With Picture Frame

While reportedly under the influence of drugs, one woman struck her sister with a picture frame, Philadelphia Police said.

Officers responded to the 400 block of Krams Avenue Sept. 15 on report of domestic dispute at 9 a.m.

One woman told police, while both she and her sister were under the influence of drugs, they engaged in a physical altercation.

The woman's sister hit her over the head with a picture frame, police said.

The blow resulted in bruising to her upper right arm and abrasions to her stomach. She also reported head and back pain. However, she refused medical treatment.

She told police that she and her sister often abuse drugs.

No arrests were reported at the time.
