Roxborough Hospital's Heart Disease Information Event is Wednesday night

Roxborough Memorial Hospital is planning an event Wednesday night to educate women about the dangers posed by heart disease.

The event, to be held at the Venice Island Performing Arts Recreation Center, is billed as a free health empowerment event for women, and is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m.

The event will feature inspirational health presentations, healthy snacks and even wine. Attendance is free but registration is required,here.

Women attending are encouraged to wear red.
