Roxtoberfest Pushed Back to October 10

Due to storms expected this week in the region, Roxborough’s Roxtoberfest has been pushed back to its rain date of October 10. It was to take place October 3, this Saturday.

“Officials of Roxborough Development Corporation announced this evening the postponement of Saturday’s planned “Roxtoberfest” fall festival as a result of this weekend’s forecast of severe weather, including heavy rains and high winds,” the Corporation announced on its Facebook page.

The event, sponsored by The Foodery, will feature music from Tom Gillam and Friends, Adam Monoco, Ladybird, Richard Bush & the Peace Creeps and Cliff Hillis.

Featured food will include Roxtoberfest Pretzel Sausages and Hot Dogs and food trucks including Nomad Pizza, Smokin’ Tacos and Lil Pop Shop. There will also be a home brew competition.
