State Launches Papal511, a Pope Visit Readiness Website
PennDOT, Turnpike team up on new site, introduced by Gov. Wolf

There’s a new website aimed at getting local residents ready for Pope Francis’ visit. It’s www.papal511.com, and it’s a joint effort of PennDOT and the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
Gov. Tom Wolf’s office announced the launch Monday. The site features general information about the visit, as well as traffic information and tips on how to bypass event traffic during the Papal weekend, Sept. 25-27.
“With enthusiastic crowds expected to converge on Philadelphia, this site will offer up-to-the-minute information to assist visitors and make their experience as enjoyable as possible,” the governor said in a statement.
