WB Saul High School Evacuated After Threatening Note Found

Students are back in the school after a K9 unit cleared the building prompted by a note threatening to blow up the school, police said.

ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA — W.B. Saul High School in Roxborough was evacuated Thursday after a bomb threat note was found at the schools.

According to Philadelphia police, the school was evacuated at about 10 a.m. Thursday after the note was discovered on a teacher's door.

Police said the note threatened to blow up the school if it was not evacuated by 10:30 a.m.

A K9 unit was called to the school and cleared it of any potential threats by 11:09 a.m.

Students are being let back into the school, police said.
