Wind Damages Part Of Roxborough Construction Site Friday

ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA — Strong winds in Philadelphia led to a portion of a construction site in Roxborough being blown over.

Area residents shared photos of the damage to the Roxborough Always Rants....and Sometime Raves Facebook group Friday morning and afternoon showing the damage.

The building is under construction on Ridge Avenue, next to the Wawa at 6701 Ridge Ave.

Witnesses said no one was hurt when wind brought down parts of the building's structure.

Patch has reached out to Philadelphia Licenses and Inspection for more information on the building and the damage and will update the story when details are made available.
