Salisbury Schools on 2-Hour Delay Thursday

The effects of an unexpected "snow squall" cause Salisbury Township School District to implement two-hour delayed opening for Thursday, Dec. 12.

The impact of what the National Weather Service is calling a "snow squall" has caused Salisbury Township School District to call for a two-hour delayed opening Thursday. Kindergarten is on a modified schedule.

According to a special weather statement by the National Weather Service at 4:45 a.m., the snow squall could bring a "burst of snow and greatly reduced visibilities."

For the remainder of the day forecasters are calling for mostly sunny skies, with a high near 27.
