Brawl At Kennywood Leads To Charges Against 9 Juveniles
The May 3 mass-fight involved up to 75 people, authorities say.

A fight at Kennywood Amusement Park on May 3 that allegedly involved dozens of brawlers and shut the park down for a day has led to charges being pressed against 9 juveniles, according to the West Mifflin Township Police Department.
The suspects names were not released because they were juveniles.
The fight allegedly started in Kiddie Land inside Kennywood and then moved to the McDonalds across the street, CBS Pittsburgh reports.

Up to 75 people may have been involved in the fight, police said.
Police said that they were going to monitor social media channels closely to see if they could find signs that would help them prevent such incidents in the future.

In a statement released Monday, Kennywood officials said that they were considering requiring all children to have an adult chaperone, a policy they had in place in the 1990s.
Kennywood has boosted its own security within the park, and there is an increased police presence in the park, officials said.
Four teenage girls suffered minor injuries in the May 3 altercation.
