Car Rear-Ends Quaker Valley School Bus

A school bus filled with Quaker Valley high school students was rear-ended in Leetsdale yesterday morning.

A vehicle rear-ended a Quaker Valley school bus carrying about 30 students on Thursday morning, Feb. 5.

The accident occurred at 7:40 a.m. at Beaver Street and Village Drive in Leetsdale, according to the Pittsburg Post-Gazette. There were no injuries reported in the accident.

A school district spokeswoman said the car slid while trying to stop and rear-ended the bus, the Post-Gazette reported. In addition to police, the school principal and school nurse also reported to the scene.

The Post-Gazette said parents were informed of the incident and students attended class on schedule.
