Children's Hospital Of Pittsburgh Hosts Patient Prom

Cancer may be the most debilitating and deadly disease known to mankind.

But cancer cells can’t kill fun.

The Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh hosted its annual patient prom on Wednesday night, enabling patients battling cancer to rise above their illness and enjoy an event they may have missed out on otherwise.

Children of all ages attended the prom, not just teenagers, making for an inclusive event.

Face-painting, games, and dancing were all a part of the event.

Well-wishers were also able to support by the prom by “sending a flower” digitally to children.
