'Fountain' and Other Pets Need Forever Homes

Find out why Animal Friends has reduced all adoption donations for animals 6 months and older to $19.43 through July 31.

At the height of World War II, a group of Pittsburgh citizens concerned for the well-being of soldiers' pets when they left to serve in the war founded Animal Friends.

That was 1943. So, to celebrate the 70th anniversary, all adoption donations for animals 6 months and older are being reduced to $19.43 through July 31.

So this is the purr-fect time to considering adopting Fountain, a beautiful cat looking for a forever home, and other pets at Animal Friends, 562 Camp Horne Rd. in Ohio Township.
