New Board Members Named to Sewickley Valley Chamber of Commerce
The group has announced a restructuring of its membership policy and bylaws.

The Sewickley Valley Chamber of Commerce has restructured its bylaws and governing board.Â
The organization has also launched a new membership policy. Beginning on May 1, all businesses in Sewickley will be considered for membership in the organization.Â
Membership fees will not be a part of the organization's structure, according to a news release from the chamber. Instead, businesses will pay entrance fees for various chamber events and activities.Â

The group began restructuring its bylaws and reviewing its governance and financial structure in June 2011.Â
New board members for the chamber are Alexis Comunale, owner of the Jewel Thief in Sewickley; Cora DeLoia, owner of Spoiled Chics Boutique; Kate Weiss Duncan, general manager of the Penguin Bookshop; John Douglas Florey, director of the Laughlin Children's Center; and Leo Grandovic, manager of Northwest Savings Bank.Â

Membership mailings will be distributed to all Sewickley Valley businesses at the end of the month. Â
