Quaker Valley School District: 2021 Elementary Virtual Geography Bees

The school champions will represent their elementary school in a virtual Quaker Valley District Geography Bee on Wednesday, March 10.

Although the National Geographic Organization canceled this year’s events, the Quaker Valley team organized their own version of an elementary school-level Geography Bee.

Students in fourth and fifth grade took part in virtual geography bees on Wednesday, February 10. Students answered questions about not only geography, but also cultures, physical features, history, and earth science.

Osborne Elementary SchoolFourth graders Maxson Dilanni and Michael Fuener and fifth-graders Rachel Abbott and Tristan Maccaglia won first place in each of their individual events.

Edgeworth Elementary SchoolFourth graders Skylar Egbert and Abby Molchen and fifth-graders Matthias Lezama and Vito Pogue won first place in each of their individual events.
