Osborne’s 2nd-grade classes took their annual trip to the Pittsburgh Zoo on Friday, March 11th. The difference this year though is that the trip was virtual. Thanks to a donation from the Osborne Elementary School Home and School Association, the students were able to learn from zoo staff.
This virtual field trip tied into the animal research in library and art, service learning/advocacy project (garden towers), and the planned adoption of Pittsburgh Zoo polar bears.
