Allentown Applebee's supports Parkland Middle School and Ronald McDonald House

The Allentown Applebee’s is providing the food to help Parkland’s finest 6th, 7th, and 8th grade chefs support the Ronald McDonald House in Philadelphia on April 29th. The Parkland Middle School Students will travel to the Ronald McDonald House with the donation from Applebee’s and will cook for the families in residence. Helping a sick child fight their illness takes a big enough emotional toll on a family. Adding a financial strain can make it all almost too much to bear. RMHC can help address those problems, whether they involve housing that’s near a hospitalized child, the expense of staying together in another city, or even getting basic medical and dental care in a vulnerable community. This Applebee’s donation will spread smiles and warmth, and will also teach valuable lessons to the students participating.
