Chesterbrook Academy Donates 100 Items to Lily's Hope Foundation

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Catasauqua recently donated nearly 100 items to the Lily's Hope Foundation, a nonprofit organization that supports babies, children and their families with unexpected and urgent needs due to premature birth. Over the past month, students worked together to collect essential baby and personal care items, including blankets, cleaning supplies, coffee, snacks, diapers, baby wipes, clothing and more. The donated items will be used to create “Packages of Hope,” which are sent to NICU families who have been unable to prepare for their child's early arrival.

In addition to their donation to Lily’s Hope Foundation, Chesterbrook Academy students created more than 50 holiday cards for local state troopers to thank them for all that they do. Through these initiatives, students learned the importance of giving back and helping others in the community, especially during the holiday season.
