Hobby Lobby to Open Monday

Hobby Lobby store, a national arts and crafts store chain, will hold a grand opening Monday at the Trexlertown Shopping Center.

Local officials and business leaders from the Lehigh Valley will join the ceremonial ribbon cutting at 9 a.m., according to store manager Matthew Albright.

Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc., headquartered in Oklahoma City, offers more than 65,000 crafting and home decor products. Departments include floral, fabric, needle art, custom framing, baskets, home accents, wearable art, arts and crafts, jewelry and scrapbooking and paper crafting supplies. 

“Hobby Lobby is considered a leader in the arts and crafts industry, and fast becoming a household name," said John Schumacher, assistant vice president of advertising, in a  news release.

"Customers new to Hobby Lobby will find that we offer the widest variety of crafting supplies and home décor merchandise in one location, with new merchandise arriving all the time,” Schumacher said.

Store hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday. 

Hobby Lobby stores are closed Sundays.
