Josh Early Health Expo Draws Thousands For Women's 5K Classic Preview

Participants in today's 20th Women's 5K Classic for breast cancer awareness swarmed South Whitehall Friday for the Josh Early Candies Health Expo at St. Luke's West End Medical Center.

About 5,600 women are expected to participate in Saturday's 20th Women's 5K Classic and most spent a portion of their time on the eve of the Classic at The Josh Early Candies Health Expo.

The event was held at St. Luke's West End Medical Center (formerly the PA Expo Center) from 3 to 7 p.m., and it was a sea of pink T-shirts and even a few pink wigs as participants picked up their bibs and registration packs.

Most stayed to take advantage of the Health Expo, sponsored by Josh Early Candies. Seventy vendors were there with plenty of "pink" give-a-ways.
