Man Arrested for Selling Drugs from Whitehall Walmart Bathroom

A 27-year-old man used the bathroom in a Walmart in Whitehall to sell methamphetamine.

A 27-year-old man was arrested Monday night for packaging, selling and using drugs in a Whitehall Walmart bathroom.

A loss prevention officer spotted Anthony G. Happel, of Mertztown, in the Walmart bathroom with what he believed to be drugs and a scale, according to The Morning Call. When police arrived, Happel was identified as the man who had the drugs and drug paraphernalia by Walmart employees.

After searching him, Whitehall Police found a scale, three bags containing methamphetamine, six packets of heroin and nearly $678 on Happel, The Morning Call reports.

Happel was arraigned on Tuesday and charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamines, possession of methamphetamines, possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was sent to Lehigh County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
