Maundy Thursday Tenebrae Service at Asbury Church
Join us Maundy Thursday • March 24 • 7 PM, Sanctuary as Asbury presents: "The Seven Last Days" A Tenebrae Service
Thursday of Holy Week is remembered as the time Jesus ate a final meal together with the men who had followed him for so long. Please join us on March 24th for a moving and meaningful Tenebrae worship service featuring a brief message, Holy Communion and the musical work entitled “The Seven Last Days.” This musical journey of the passion story, which includes narration and music provided by the Asbury Chancel Choir and a small chamber ensemble, depicts the events of Jesus’ last seven days as described in the book of Matthew.
