North Whitehall Teen Found Dead in Car, Police Investigating

Allentown Police are investigating the death of a North Whitehall Township man whose body was found in his car Thursday.

Joseph R. Span, 19, of the 1400 block of Crest Vu Lane, was found in his car in the 700 block of North Whitehall Street in Allentown, according to LehighValleyLive.com.

The teen was pronounced dead at 7:35 p.m. and an autopsy was performed by the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office Friday morning, LehighValleyLive.com reported. The cause of Span’s death is pending the results of toxicology reports, LehighValleyLive.com said.

The investigation into Span’s death is ongoing and being performed by the county coroner’s office and the Allentown Police Department.
