Parkland Cross Country and Soccer Host Games Tuesday in South Whitehall

Here's what's happening Tuesday in South Whitehall Township.

• Tuesday, Sept. 17 is expected to feature sunny skies with temperatures in the high 60s, according to the National Weather Service forecast. 

• The Parkland School Board will hold a 7 p.m. workshop and 8 p.m. agenda meeting Tuesday at the administration building, 1210 Springhouse Road.

• September is Library Card Month at the Parkland Community Library. The library, 4422 Walbert Ave., is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Get your library card Tuesday.

• The Parkland boys and girls cross country teams host Liberty and Freedom in a Lehigh Valley Conference meet at 4 p.m. Tuesday.

• The Parkland varsity girls soccer team hosts a night game with Lehigh Valley Conference rival Emmaus at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

• Your last chance to see the Budweiser Clydesdales in the Lehigh Valley is Tuesday at the Gildan Triple-A Championship Game Tailgate Party at 5 p.m., and the Gildan Triple-A Championship Game at 6:30 p.m., both at Coca-Cola Park in Allentown.
