Parkland High School Stages 'Almost Maine'
Students perform Friday and Saturday in a romantic comedy set in the mythical town of Almost, Maine.

Parkland High School's fall play, "Almost Maine," Â is being performed Nov. 9 and Nov. 10 in the school auditorium at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $8 for students and seniors citizens and $10 for adults and can be purchased at the door or by following these instructions.
According to Parkland's website, the play is a romantic comedy - written by John Cariani - and is set "on a cold, clear, moonless night in the middle of winter. All is not quite what it seems in the remote, mythical town of Almost, Maine. As the Northern Lights hover in the star-filled sky above, Almost’s residents find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and often hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend - almost- in this delightful midwinter night’s dream."
