Parkland Schools to Dismiss Early Thursday

All Parkland schools will dismiss early Thursday, and all after-school activities are cancelled, according to information posted on the district website.

Secondary schools will dismiss at 1 p.m., and elementary schools will dismiss at 1:45 p.m.  There will be no afternoon kindergarten Thursday.

All non-public transportation will begin at 1 p.m.  

The National Weather Service said 6 to 10 inches of snow is expected, starting tonight. Bitter cold temperatures will follow.
