Police Searching for Work Truck in North Whitehall Hit-and-Run
Pennsylvania State Police have released more information about the Jan. 20 hit-and-run in North Whitehall.

Pennsylvania State Police have released more information relating to a vehicle suspected to be involved in a Jan. 20 hit-and-run in North Whitehall.
Jennifer E. Dietrich, 42, of Coplay, was struck by a pickup truck in the northbound lanes near 5060 Route 873 while she was crossing the road on Jan. 20, according to The Express-Times. The driver of the vehicle did not stop after striking Dietrich, continuing northbound on Route 873, police said.
State Police said the vehicle that struck Dietrich may have had the word “Ehrlich” on the driver’s side door, The Express-Times reported. Authorities said the pickup truck is likely a 1998 to 2000 model year, blue Ford Ranger with white writing on the side, orange and yellow horizontal stripes and a cap on the bed or truck bed storage cabinets, The Express-Times said.

The pest control company is reportedly cooperating fully with authorities. The Express-Times reported that investigators have determined there is no vehicle matching the suspected hit-and-run vehicle in the company’s fleet.
Police are urging anyone with information regarding this hit-and-run to contact the Pennsylvania State Police at the Bethlehem barracks by calling (610) 861-2026.
