Progressive Grocer names Whitehall GIANT store manager a top woman in grocery

Progressive Grocer, a leading retail food industry trade publication, has named ten GIANT Food Stores and MARTIN’S Food Markets associates to its 2017 Top Women in Grocery, which honors outstanding female leaders in the retailer and supplier community sectors.

Sonja Boelhouwer, regional vice president, was recognized in the senior-level executive category. The following GIANT/MARTIN’S associates were among those recognized in the rising star category:

• Amy Kidd, human resource manager
• Mindy Miller-Dowling, asset protection manager
• Traci Porr, human resource manager
• Jamie Shannon, human resource generalist
• Mary St. Ledger Baggett, director marketing & external communications

In addition, the following GIANT/MARTIN’S store managers were also recognized:

• Hiba Daher, Whitehall GIANT store manager
• Kristi Foernsler, Warminster GIANT store manager
• Carolyn Fogle, Chambersburg GIANT store manager
• Madelina Fordham, Morrisville GIANT assistant store manager
