Procter & Gamble Virtual Reality experience, available at Weis Markets, features exclusive footage of canoe slalom athlete

Procter & Gamble (P&G), a proud partner of the Olympic Games, wants consumers to Ride into the Rio 2016 Olympic Games with a Virtual Reality (VR) viewer this summer. The VR experience, available to consumers through a P&G promotion at Weis Markets, Aug. 18-24, will immerse consumers in exclusive heart-pounding action through the eyes of athlete Casey Eichfeld, 26, as he competes in the canoe slalom competition.

“I’m grateful for the support P&G has provided me and my fellow athletes to help us prepare for the Olympic Games. I’m excited that people can ride right along with me and experience the thrill of running the rapids in the canoe slalom competition,” says Eichfeld.

Harrisburg-born Eichfeld is a slalom canoe athlete and competes in the C1 (solo) and C2 (doubles) categories. In 2008, he competed at the Olympic Games in Beijing in the C2 event. Most recently he won two gold medals at the Pan Am Games and had a strong finish at the 2015 World Championships.
