Leading franchisee company, along with its local stores, displays outstanding corporate giving

NEWTOWN, Pa. — Feb. 4, 2016 — The Rose Group, a leading franchisee of Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar and Corner Bakery Cafe restaurants, announced today that it, along with it’s regional Applebee’s stores, have raised an impressive $1.76 million for various charities throughout Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

In the Wilkes Barre & Scranton markets, 6 Applebee’s locations raised a combined total of $151,000 through programs including Flapjack Fundraisers, Dining to Donate, Veteran’s Day Meals, ‘A’ is for Applebee’s, Alex’s Lemonade Stand fundraisers, donation requests and local neighborhood promotions. In addition to supporting a wide variety of charitable organizations, a large portion of The Rose Group’s fundraising efforts is focused on Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF). For 11 years, The Rose Group’s Applebee’s and Corner Bakery Cafe locations have organized and participated in local events with the sole purpose of raising money for ALSF, raising a collective total of over $3 million.
