Snow Showers, Financial Aid Night: Your Tuesday

For the first time of the season, snow showers are in the weather forecast.
The National Weather Service said scattered rain and snow showers are expected before 7 a.m. Little or no accumulation is expected, but the roads could be slick in the morning.
It is expected to be partly sunny, but cold as we move into the afternoon with a forecast high of 40 degrees, but 25 mph wind gusts that could make it feel colder.

Here’s what else is going on in the area Tuesday:
- Ju-Ju Monkey on Tilghman Street in the Kmart shopping plaza hosts Mommy/Baby Yoga for new moms and babies at 10:30 a.m.
- Former GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin will kick off her book tour for "Good Tidings and Great Joy: Protecting the Heart of Christmas" at the Bethlehem Township Barnes & Noble. Palin, the former Alaska governor, will be at the Southmont Mall, 4445 Southmont Way, off Freemansburg Avenue and Route 33 at 6 p.m. where she will be signing copies of her new book.
- Parents with kids preparing for college can learn about financial aid Tuesday night at Parkland High School. The program begins at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium, and features information on FAFSA (Free Application For Federal Student Aid) Program, The CSS/Financial Aid Profile, and The Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency Grant/Loan Programs.
