Disabled Athletes to Participate in Triathlon for Kids on Saturday
Olympic and Paralympic medalists will be on hand Saturday at Mikayla's Voice Tri For Inclusion, a triathlon for kids with disabilities, at Parkland High School.

Noga Nir-Kistler, a 2012 Paralympic bronze medalist in swimming who is from Salisbury Township, will be among the celebrities to hand out medals Saturday at the Lehigh Valley's first inclusive triathlon for kids with disabilities at Parkland High School.
More than 135 children with and without disabilities are expected to  participate in Mikayla's Voice Tri for Inclusion. Kristy Kowal, a 2000 Olympics medalist in swimming, will be among the athletes participating. Kowal will help pull a disabled swimmer.
There will be 30 relay teams participating in the athletic event that will includes children with disabilities such as Down Syndrome, autism, blindness and epilepsy.
Conner and Cayden Long, brothers from Tennessee, will compete in the event and serve as race ambassadors. The brothers, one with and one without a disability, have competed in more than 14 triathlons and were named Sports Illustrated 2012 SportsKids of the Year.
