Two Alarm Fire at North Whitehall Restaurant Ties Up Traffic, Minor Burn Victim

Rosaria’s Italian Pizza and Restaurant, located at 5757 Route 145 in the Laurys Station area of North Whitehall, fell victim to a fire on Tuesday night.

The fire reported just before 10 p.m. injured at least one and tied up traffic along Route 145, according to The Express-Times. The fire was originally believed to be a fryer fire that was quickly put out, but reports were made soon after saying the fire had spread to within the walls.

The fire grew to a two alarm fire around 10:20 p.m. and an officer reportedly called for a second ambulance for the victim with minor burns, The Express-Times said.
