Univest to Celebrate Opening of Tilghman Square Building

Univest Corp. officials are planning to cut the ribbon Tuesday afternoon for the grand opening of their new Lehigh Valley headquarters at Tilghman Square Shopping Center.

The banking and investment firm broke ground on the new $2 million, two-story, 10,000-square-foot building in May. At that time, the company, which had offices in Allentown and Fogelsville, planned to relocate their 31 employees to the new building and ultimately add 19 new hires.

The office was to offer services in corporate banking, mortgage banking, insurance, wealth management and equipment financing. The building will not be a retail bank, officials have said.

Tuesday’s ribbon cutting ceremony was scheduled to take place at 2 p.m.
