2 Springfield Township Roads Getting Repaved This Week: PennDOT

The road is just one of more than 40 in the greater Philadelphia region that is being resurfaced this week as part of a major project.

SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA – Two roads in Springfield Township are being repaved this week, according to PennDOT.

They are U.S. Route 1 and Baltimore Pike.

The road repavement is part of a project from PennDOT to repair more than 40 deteriorated roads in the greater Philadelphia area.

Crews will restrict traffic on the road as the repair work is done, PennDOT said.

Drivers should expect intermittent lane closures and possible slowdowns when driving near work crews.

All activities are weather dependent.
